The P&C has received a $2,000 grant to become a Container Deposit Scheme Donation Point.
The grant will fund the purchase of lockable donation cages, where students, parents and the community can deposit containers like plastic bottles and aluminium cans.
The money generated from these containers will then be reinvested in Roleystone Community College through the P&C.
Donating containers is a fantastic way people can support their local school, and at the same time reduce landfill.
The Scheme gets underway on 1 October- so start collecting and get donating!
