Phys Ed specialist teacher Ms. Jackson has been successful in securing a grant, which will be used to encourage and support increased physical activity and literacy for students during recess and lunch breaks. There is also the potential for before/after school activities for students in upper primary and secondary.
Along with this, RCC is currently working with our OTs to design a sensory wall and outdoor gross motor skill activities.
So watch this space for more exciting news.

Competition Time!!

Have you got what it takes to design and create an outdoor game that is good fun and interesting to play?
Well Ms Jackson needs you!
All secondary students are being encouraged to either individually or in groups come up with an outdoor game or activity that primary school students can play. The game or activity must come complete with instructions, that aren’t too complicated, and must be designed on a worksheet provided to students, or on a plain piece of paper.
Two winning designs will receive a prize, and the design will be painted in the primary school.
So get creating, as all designs must be handed to Ms Jackson by Friday 31 July (Week 2, Term 3).
