Our Bushrangers have been out and about around Roleystone this term, fighting the elements to help take care of our natural surroundings.

Recently they headed to the Araluen Walk Trial, near the Roley Pool Reserve, to help the Armadale Gosnells Landcare Group with some river restoration work.

With expert guidance from Shane, the leader of the community group, our Cadets spent the afternoon planting small shrubs and sedges along the waterline. With all the rain in recent weeks, the ground was soft, muddy and slippery, but this didn’t stop our cadets from working hard and planting over 400 plants and shrubs in just two hours!

The Cadets accomplished this with great teamwork. They are all looking forward to their three-day camp, from Wednesday 14 September.
