On Thursday 5 August the Year 7 Advanced Mixed Netball athletes scooped the pool and won the Grand Final game in their first ever interschool competition.

For most of our players it was their first time playing or umpiring a netball game and they were absolutely incredible! They all stepped up to the challenge and showed outstanding sportsmanship and physical resilience.

Roleystone Community College is so proud of all of them that took part.

The team finished on top of the ladder before going into finals against Como.
They had a nail biting final where they demonstrated excellent patience and teamwork, and managed to come away with a 3-goal win.

RCC is very proud of these athletes and how hard they trained and competed. Along with Mia Copley and Kyla Gray who were our student umpires for the day. They were very professional and showed excellent leadership, and they should be proud of their efforts.
