Naidoc Week 20   This year’s theme of NAIDOC Week Always Was, Always Will Be, recognises that our First Nations people were Australia’s first explorers, first navigators, first engineers, first farmers, first botanists, first scientists, first diplomats, first astronomers and first artists.

NAIDOC Week recognises that our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years and invites all Australians to embrace the true history of this country – by seeing, hearing, learning and celebrating the First Nations’ long history and acknowledging and recognising that sovereignty.

Here at RCC this year from Monday 9 November we have many activities planned over the week, including whole school events in our Primary area, which will be interactive and very exciting.
