Roleystone Community College P & C

The P&C at Roleystone Community College is a very important part of the school. We provide several essential services such as the Canteen, Uniform Shop, Lost Property and a traffic management officer/crossing guard. In addition to this the P&C support the school chaplain and provide additional funding as agreed with the school throughout the year.

The P&C is run by a small committee of volunteers. The money to fund all of the above is achieved through a combination of a $40 per family voluntary contribution, fundraising and profits from the Uniform Shop.

Container Deposits at RCC

The P&C has received a $2,000 grant to become a Container Deposit Scheme Donation Point.

The grant will fund the purchase of lockable donation cages, where students, parents and the community can deposit containers like plastic bottles and aluminium cans.

The money generated from these containers will then be reinvested in Roleystone Community College through the P&C.

Donating containers is a fantastic way people can support their local school, and at the same time reduce landfill.

The Scheme gets underway on 1 October- so start collecting and get donating!

P&C Meetings are back!

Check out the Website front page for meeting dates. Meetings are held in the staff room from 7.30 pm.
Everyone is welcome!

Father’s Day Stall

After the disappointment of not being able to hold our annual Mother’s Day stall, all our RCC dads are in luck!

Put Tuesday 1st September in your diary and Thursday 3rd September for alternate Kindy classes.

Bendigo Bank Raffle Update

Please remember to return your raffle tickets – you have until the end of November to return them to the front office, or your child’s teacher. The raffle will be drawn at the Roleystone Christmas Markets in early December.

Happy P&C Day!

On Friday 22 May RCC recognised the wonderful work our very hard working volunteers from the P&C do in the school for us every day. Some of our wonderful teachers created some activities with their students to recognise the day and to make our students aware of what the P&C provides at the school. We also created a short video which we encourage you to watch at
https://youtu.be/LFb5x45y__o
A huge thank you to Dan Holliday, Digital Media Specialist Teacher for his efforts in producing and editing the video.

Snack Shack

A hard copy of the Snack Shack menu is available from the Front Office, or check out what’s on offer in the PDF attached.

Uniform Shop
The Uniform Shop is back to its normal operating hours – Friday mornings from 8.15 am - 9.30am.
Check out the dedicated Uniform Show page for more details.

Can you help your P&C?

The more volunteers we have the less of a load it will be on all of us and the more we can achieve for our kids. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Uniform Shop: Our uniform shop is run by parent volunteers. We could do with a few extra parents to help serve when the shop is open and especially to assist at stocktake time and a few other peak periods.

Snack Shack (Canteen): Our staff would really welcome having a parent volunteer to lend a hand. If we could cover all the days of the week, that would be fantastic. You might like to volunteer once a term, once a month or every week. Whatever suits you will suit us!

Join the Cookup: We have a number of homemade specials on our menu and would like to add more but these require parent led cook ups. You don’t have to be involved in every cook up just be on the list of volunteers to call when we need.

Volunteers List: We are involved in all sorts of events during the year and sometimes need to call on volunteers. Types of events:

  • Mother's day, Father's day and Christmas stall
  • Expo/Open Night Sausage sizzle
  • Sports carnival
  • Disco
  • Colour Run

Gift Stall Creation Team: We have a gift stall for Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Christmas. We sometimes need volunteers to help with the preparation and especially on stall days.
