Roleystone Community College P & C
The P&C at Roleystone Community College is a very important part of the school. We provide several essential services such as the Quenda Cafe (Canteen), Uniform Shop, Lost Property and a traffic management officer/crossing guard. In addition to this the P&C support the school chaplain and provide additional funding as agreed with the school throughout the year.
The P&C is run by a small committee of volunteers. The money to fund all of the above is achieved through a combination of a $40 per family voluntary contribution, fundraising and profits from the Uniform Shop.

Did You Know?
In 2021 your P&C contributed over $69,000 to RCC which included Breakfast Club funding, sponsorship of the Robotics Team and Festival of Maths, new seating and shade structures for our Secondary students, giant pencils to display our all-important college values in a fun and colourful way, funded the Launch of the Positive Behaviours program, sponsored the Year 10 River Cruise photographer and was successful in receiving grants and donations which saw the installation of a new storage shed, gardening gloves, teacher wellness bags and mental health week activities for our kids.
We put the FUN in FUNdraising by holding many different and varied events along with all the stalls, Mother’s, and Father’s Day and Christmas. We also organise the very popular Halloween Disco and the Colour and Slime Runs.
These events provide fun and positivity for our children's wellbeing and create life-long memories here at RCC.
In 2022 we will continue our hard work with many new projects.

Container Deposits at RCC
Come on everyone - help fill up our bin in 2022!
Thanks for all the donations since we stated this initiative. Remember all the money generated is re-invested into Roleystone Community College. In 2020 the P&C received a $2,000 grant to become a Container Deposit Scheme Donation Point, which funded the purchase of a lockable donation bin.
Donating containers like plastic bottles and aluminium cans is a fantastic way students, parents and the community can support their local school, and at the same time reduce landfill.
But remember DON’T crush any cans donated.
Can you help your P&C?
The more volunteers we have the less of a load it will be on all of us and the more we can achieve for our kids. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and register.
Uniform Shop: Our uniform shop is run by parent volunteers. We always welcome extra people to help serve when the shop is open and to assist at stocktake time and other peak periods. Check out the Uniform Shop page under the About Us tab on the Home Page for more details.
Quenda Cafe (Canteen): Our staff always welcome having parent volunteers. If we could cover all the days of the week, that would be fantastic. You might like to volunteer once a term, once a month or every week, head to the Canteen tab under About Us on the Home Page
Volunteers List: We are involved in all sorts of events during the year and sometimes need to call on volunteers. Types of events:
- Mother's day, Father's day and Christmas stall
- Expo/Open Night
- Sports carnival
- Disco
- Colour/Slime Run
Gift Stall Creation Team: We have a gift stall for Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Christmas. We sometimes need volunteers to help with the preparation and especially on stall days.
$40 Contribution
We understand that not everyone can volunteer time, but an easy way to support the vital work of your P&C is by making the $40.00 per year contribution.
