All parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles are welcome. Friends & community members with a WWC card and current National Police Clearance are also welcome to volunteer.

If you can help out (no matter how small or infrequently), please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 0467 950 689 or pop in to the canteen to see Vanessa.

Our RCC children will thank you!!

The Term 4 menu is now attached as a PDF – the menu includes all the usual tasty treats, along with our special items.

A hard copy of the menu is available from the Front Office.

Head to this link to pre-order

Our fantastic Canteen, with its new name, is open every day and provides lots of yummy food and drinks options and every day our two full time supervisors cook, prepare meals and organise orders.

In 2020, we updated and improved some of our services, in an effort to reduce wastage and unnecessary costs and the first major change is to make lunch items available by PRE-ORDER ONLY (before 9.00am where possible) for students from PP-Year 10.

We still offer a lot of tasty over-the-counter snack items for sale at both Lunch 1 and Lunch 2 for students to purchase, but lunch items cannot be ordered over-the-counter.

We will also try to post regularly on the P&C Facebook page, and the RCC Website, to keep parents/caregivers and students up to date.

Volunteers are also most welcome to help out in the Snack Shack.

We need about 50 helpers to cover a term, and with a school of nearly 860 students we believe that this is realistic to achieve.

If you are able to help please contact us at the Snack Shack or by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and letting us know the day you are available.

Please Remember When Ordering

1. Please double check the orders are correct - including date, item and L1 or L2 BEFORE processing. There will be a post on the P & C Face Book page about how to access receipts in QKR and in case the parent/caregiver ever has an issue, to first check the order has been processed correctly.

2. A reminder to all parents/caregivers to update their child/s class details in QKR as a lot of incorrect information is causing headaches for Snack Shack staff.

Congratulations to Vanessa Mamakos, who has recently taken on the Snack Shack Manager’s role.

Our Eco-Friendly Snack Shack
Not only has our Snack Shack been recycling paper, cardboard and soft plastics for ages, we are now very excited to announce that our food will be served in a new biocane range of environmentally friendly containers, which are made from sugarcane pulp.

This is a very concerted effort by the P and C and the Snack Shack, to further reduce our carbon footprint with eco-friendly packaging options, wherever possible.

The new containers are all compostable, as our new range of paper bowls and cups, which are designed to hold liquids, and are coated with Ingeo™ bioplastic made from plants.

The containers are beige/natural in colour so if any of these containers make their way home, please put them into your compost, or general waste collection bin (except for the clear plastic lids which are recyclable in your yellow bin).

Our next task is to look at more environmentally friendly cutlery options, so stay tuned for future updates.

Thanks for feeding us!

On the last day of Term 4, RCC said goodbye to our two amazing and long-serving canteen staff Tracy and Robyn who have decided 2020 will be their last year with Roleystone Community College.

Tracy has been with us for 14 years and Robyn for 10. An amazing effort ladies, and we can’t thank you enough for all your hard work and fantastic cooking!

We appreciate your efforts over the years, but particularly in 2020 having handled supply shortages, menu changes, and the lockdown.

Thank you Robyn and Tracy and we wish you all the very best for the future.
