Roleystone Community College is located in the Jarrah forest of the Perth Hills. Only 30min from Perth city, the school is closely connected to its surrounding community and provides education from Kindergarten to Year 10.

The Campus

College is a public school employing approximately 100 staff to provide a comprehensive education for students in Years K-10. The campus features architecturally attractive faculty buildings nestled in a jarrah forest setting with excellent facilities and incorporating high levels of access to information communication technology.

College Governances overseen by a strong Board made up of staff, parents and broader community members with the balance of numbers being with parents and community. The College enjoys a vibrant and supportive P and C Association who work tirelessly to raise annual funds to support the College’s programs.

To cater for the diversity of student interests and abilities, we offer a number of programmes for students to address their academic, social, physical and emotional needs.

  • Children should arrive at least 10 minutes before the morning commencement, but not before 8.20 am.
  • On Wednesdays the college closes at 2:30pm to enable staff to access continual professional development. The bus service runs at the usual times and students who wish to catch the bus are supervised on site at the designated area.

  • Swan Transit buses travel daily to and from the College on two routes.
  • A “School Special” bus leaves from Kelmscott Station in the morning at XXXX and from Brooks Road at 03:20pm for Kelmscott Station via Roleystone.
  • Route 241: Timetables are available from Swan Transit or the College.
  • Students can obtain smartrider through the college by filling in the form below and returning it to the office.

A bicycle way is provided along Raeburn Road (from Holden Road) to the school via Brooks Road.

Private Vehicle

Marked bay parking is available in Brooks and Raeburn Roads for parents dropping off, or picking up, students that should be used in order to avoid traffic congestion.

A “kiss-and-drop” is located off Brooks Road for morning delivery and afternoon collection of students.


  • A 40kph limit exists around the school from 7:30—9:00am and 2.30—4.00pm
  • An 8kph limit exists within the school grounds.
