Roleystone Community College P & C

The P&C at Roleystone Community College is a very important part of the school. We provide several essential services such as the canteen, uniform shop and a traffic management officer/crossing guard. In addition to this the P&C support the school chaplain and provide additional funding as requested by the school throughout the year as well as holding regular cook up's at the canteen.

The P&C is run by a small committee of volunteers. The money to fund all of the above being achieved through a combination of a $40.00 per family voluntary contribution, fundraising and profits from the canteen and uniform shop.

Can you help your P&C?

The more volunteers we have, the less load it will be on all of us and the more we can achieve for our kids. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Uniform Shop: Our uniform shop is run by parent volunteers. We could do with a few extra parents to help serve when the shop is open. You would only need to be available for one opening time per week.

The Canteen: Our canteen staff would be really welcome having a parent volunteer to lend a hand. If we could cover all the days of the week that would be fantastic. You might like to volunteer once a term, once a month or every week. Whatever suits you we can work around.

Join the Cookup: We have introduced some homemade specials to our menu this year but these require parent led cook ups. You don't have to be involved in every cook up just be on the list of volunteers to call when we need.

Volunteers List: We are involved in all sorts of events during the year and sometimes need to call on volunteers. Types of events:

  • Mother's day, Father's day and Christmas stall
  • Open night Sausage sizzle
  • Concert in the Park
  • Uniform packaging
  • Sports carnival cake stall

Gift Stall Creation Team: We have a gift stall for Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Christmas. We need volunteers to help wrap and help with the preparation. The group meet on Thursday mornings and have a cuppa, chat and work so all very informal. You can take jobs away to do at home if that would suit you better. If you are into beading we would really like to hear from you.
