The College SEEKS TO:

  • Abide by the rules and instructions of the Department of Education WA (Reference: 1999, 2000, 2004 and 2012 documents)

The College WILL NOT tolerate:

Behaviour that compromises the safety, learning and respect for Staff, Students, Parents and Visitors.

The College’s response to unacceptable behaviour:

  1. Student: Will be managed through learning, teaching and management strategies with the staff and parent/carer, in accordance with the College “Behaviour Management Policy”
  2. Others:
    • Will initially be managed by a process of counselling and mediation with the staff member and Associate Principal through to the Principal. Appointments can be made at the Front Office.
    • Can be managed by accessing the appropriate channels for dispute resolution as outlined by the Department of Education WA (Reference: Talking to your School).

Subsequent unacceptable behaviour, as a last resort, could be managed by

  • Verbal order
  • A prohibition order
  • Involvement of the Police
